For collection and display, yes. BetterReviews handles review collection via AI conversations, email requests, display widgets, and moderation. On the Growth plan, you also get AI-generated summaries, FAQs, and SEO descriptions from your reviews. You can import your existing reviews during setup and run both side-by-side during a transition period.
The AI knows your product, the customer's specific order, and how to have a natural conversation. It adapts in real time: if someone gives a short answer, it knows when to dig deeper and when to wrap up. And if they just want to leave a star rating and go? That's fine too, they can skip the conversation entirely.
No. All widgets render as standard Shopify sections and app blocks. They load asynchronously, respect your theme's styling, and you position them wherever you want in the theme editor. Clean uninstall if you ever need it.
Yes. We support direct import from Judge.me and Okendo, plus CSV upload from any platform (Yotpo, Loox, Stamped, and others). You can also import Q&A data from Okendo via CSV. Your imported reviews are analyzed by AI immediately, and summaries and insights start generating as soon as the import completes.
BetterReviews collects better reviews in the first place. The AI conversation draws out details, use cases, and photos that a form never would. On the Growth plan, the Product Pages dashboard then continuously analyzes those reviews and generates product page content (summaries, FAQs, labels, SEO) that stays up to date. The Starter plan covers everything you need to collect and display reviews: AI conversations, email requests, widgets, moderation, and the weekly digest. BetterReviews is priced by AI usage, not catalog size. Even if you sell 5 SKUs, if those products are generating orders, the AI conversations will collect richer reviews than any form. The Starter plan includes 100 AI credits per month, which is plenty for most new stores.
Your reviews are yours. You can export all your review data at any time. If you cancel, your reviews remain exportable. We never delete or hold your data hostage. Unlike some platforms that remove reviews when you downgrade, your reviews stay intact regardless of plan changes.
First-time installers get 7 days of full access to their chosen plan — import existing reviews, collect new ones with AI conversations, and see the quality difference. No credit card required.
